As the growth potential in the emerging countries such as Brazil, China or India is by far not exhausted, both international OEMs and suppliers as well as local corporations are pushing heavily to gain business. Especially China, whose automotive industry is expected to grow with a CAGR of ~8% p.a. over the next years offer great opportunities due to major market trends such as the politically forced shift to electromobility or its massive urbanization and the increasing wealth of the population. On the other hand will the expected shakeout among the >100 OEMs producing in China or the ongoing increase of labor costs (~10% p.a.) pose threats that need need to be addressed.

SAC has broad experience in working with international OEMs and suppliers to develop their China strategy as well as with local Chinese OEMs to understand the success factors of the automotive industry.
